Bio

Thomas Intoccia is an author, award-winning professor, and former financial services executive with over 37 years of combined industry and teaching experience.
Thomas joined the faculty of Temple University’s Fox School of Business in 2019, returning to his alma mater to teach the next generation of financial advisors and future business leaders. As a professor of finance, he instructs the Capstone Seminar in Financial Planning, Insurance Benefits, Retirement Planning, and Investing for the Future.
Prior to his academic role, Thomas was a senior divisional VP at Charles Schwab, leading a Schwab Advisor Services division before retiring in 2019. In his 13-year tenure as a senior leader at Schwab, Thomas had the unique opportunity to be part of the evolution of the registered investment advisor (RIA) industry as it grew into the multi-trillion-dollar industry it is today. Thomas has served as an investment wholesale distribution executive and investment product wholesaler at firms such as AllianceBernstein, Travelers, and Mass Mutual, and has worked both as an independent and as a wirehouse registered representative.
Thomas earned an EdD from Drexel University, an MBA from Regis University, and a BBA from Temple University. He holds the Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter designations from the American College of Financial Services.
